It is a privilege to represent southeastern Boone and western Hamilton counties in the Indiana House of Representatives. I am honored, excited and humbled to have this opportunity to serve my fellow Hoosiers. My goal is to represent the concerns and interests of all the communities in our District.

Education: Graduated from Purdue University with a B.A. in Political Science and Social Studies Education
State Representative Donna Schaibley joined the Indiana House of Representatives in December 2014.
Rep. Schaibley was born and raised in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. She graduated from Purdue University where she majored in political science and social studies education. After graduation she married her husband, John, and moved to Washington, D.C.
Rep. Schaibley worked at George Washington University managing the employee benefits program and later worked at Indiana University managing the Math Department office. After her husband started his career as a lawyer, she became a stay-at-home mother.
Before joining the Legislature, Rep. Schaibley was a substitute teacher for several years in the Carmel Clay Schools, focusing on special education classes. She also worked at the Voter Registration office in Hamilton County. She and her husband live in Carmel, and have two children and one grandchild.
House District 24 is composed of portions of Boone and Hamilton counties in central Indiana.

STATEHOUSE (Dec. 8, 2016) – The deadline to apply for the Next Generation Teacher Scholarship, paying $7,500 per year for students pursuing a career in education, is Dec. 31, according to State Rep. Donna Schaibley (R-Carmel).
