Thanks for visiting my website! It’s an honor to serve as our community’s voice in the General Assembly, and I intend to lead with the highest level of honesty and integrity. Our district covers all of Sullivan County and portions of Vigo, Greene, Knox and Daviess counties.

I believe and will support legislation that creates a smaller government, promotes strong family values and protects the sanctity of life. Since I will address many issues this upcoming session, my website is a great way to keep you up-to-date on everything that I’m working on at the Statehouse; it’s truly a one-stop shop for all constituent and media needs.

Born and raised in the Wabash Valley, Bruce Borders represents his home community in the Statehouse. He and his wife of 33 years, Lola, have three children and four grandchildren. Bruce is a hard-working local businessman, dedicated family man and active member of his church.

Nationally renowned, Bruce is known for his outstanding Elvis Presley impersonation, which was featured on ‘Late Night with David Letterman’, ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’, ‘The Joan Rivers Show’ and more.

At the Statehouse, Bruce fights hard to support legislation that protects life, keeps government lean and ensures that veterans receive the resources and benefits they greatly deserve.

The 45th House District covers a wide section of southwestern Indiana, containing sections of five separate counties. It includes all of Sullivan County, northern, eastern and southern Knox County, three townships (Elmore, Madison and Steele) in northern Daviess County, six townships in Greene County (Highland, Jefferson, Richland, Smith, Stafford and Wright), and most of western Vigo County. Major communities in the district include Bicknell, Bloomfield, Sandborn, Sullivan, Worthington, Odon, Jasonville and West Terre Haute.
